Iran kan een land zijn waarvan je nooit geloofde dat je zou bezoeken. Als we hier meer dan een maand hebben gebogen, kunnen we eerlijk zeggen dat het een droombestemming van een reiziger is, een die we enorm aanbevelen! Veel mensen zijn bang om dit verre land te vinden vanwege politieke redenen, of ze kunnen geen last hebben van het (soms) langdurige visumproces, wat betekent dat je het land vrijwel voor jezelf hebt.
OPMERKING: Vanaf februari 2014 hebben zowel Canadese als Britse paspoorthouders zich bij de rangen van Amerikanen aangesloten en moeten ze nu met een gids gaan voor de hele duur van hun verblijf in Iran. Sorry jongens! Helaas nieuws …
